Why claiming is free
A brewery that takes its page over fixes the name, adds the town, the logo and the beers. That work makes the directory better for everyone, us included. Charging for it would be charging you to improve our own data.
What happens if you never claim
Nothing. The entry stays, marked as unclaimed, with the little we know from open data. If anything on it is wrong, claiming is the fastest way to put it right, and you can ask us to remove it entirely at any time.
How paid ranking works
A paid plan puts you first only among results that already match what somebody searched for. It never puts a brewery in front of a closer or better match, and featured slots are marked as such. A directory people cannot trust is worth nothing to advertise in.
